The Mirror

A rambling story of a young man who comes to New York, eventually takes over the
ownership of an antique store, and comes upon a young woman who has a mirror (with slight
time-travel powers connected to the time of the Black Plague) to sell and a heart to
capture.
I was working late as usual, when our new employee—Dolores, whom I’d hired
myself—came into the back office, now my office, to let me know tht a Rebecca Ward was
on the phone and wanted to have Remembrance broker a sale for an antique mirror she
owned.
