Apparently, that trip over the Reichenbach Falls didn’t kill Moriarty after all.
Instead, he survived to build a Time Velocipede (which he showed off to some guy named
Wells) only to be trapped back in the time of Shakespeare and the Globe Theater.
Having learned early of the dangers attendant upon being unable to move the Time Machine,
I had added to its structure a set of wheels and a driving chain attached to the pedals
originally meant simply as foot rests. In short, I converted it into a Time Velocipede.
