For Natalie, it isn’t easy growing up as the only human creation of a mad scientist
(including a time machine, of course) and his gorgeous, shapely wife—especially when
you have the name of Natalie Doom and a leaning toward feminism).
Apparently I inherited Mama’s looks and Papa’s brains. Again and again in my life
I’ve gotten the best of a bad bargain.
