  • Travels into Yourself: The arrival is a little confusing, with Linda dropping onto her bed or otherwise popping out of thin air. We’re going to say that the sudden appearance out of nothing is a metaphor for Linda’s mind popping into her younger body.
TIME TRAVEL ITINERARY (SPOILERS!)
  1. From the living room in Linda’s apartment, 3:42pm, 31 October 2019 ⋙ to the kitchen, a few moments earlier. Round trip. Note: first short trip after Linda spilled her tea.
  2. From Linda’s bedroom, 3:45pm, 31 October 2019 ⋙ to same bedroom, 4:16pm, 31 December 2012. Round trip. Note: Linda goes back to help Jess when she’s bullied. On return, her phone incorrectly states “Saturday, October 31,” but we’ll assume it’s really Thursday, October 31, 2019, since the film states the year as 2019. Also, a bunch of snow fell between the time she left and the time she returned, but never mind.
  3. From Linda’s bedroom, about 4:32pm, 1 January 2021 ⋙ to same bedroom, 1:45pm, 1 January 2021. Round trip. Note: Linda goes back to save Jess from a car accident. The newspaper says it’s 2016, but that can’t be right because Linda didn’t get the box until October 2019. Her phone says that it’s Friday, 1 January, so we’re placing the date as 1 January 2021, which was a Friday.
