Under the guidance of the
Warehouse caretaker (John Larroquette), three
apprentice Librarians and their Guardian venture forth each episode to contain various rogue
magic threats while the actual Librarian (Noal Wyle) who put the team together tries to find
the library which is lost in space and time. Apart from that lost library, there is no time
travel until the final episode of the second season (“. . . And the
Final Curtain”) when two of the team depart for the year 1611.
For me, the characters,
acting, writing, and plot arcs were well below that of Warehouse 13, although the
setup was nice.
