According to <a href='https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FTime_Travelers_%281976_film%29'>Wikipedia</a> Charles Willard Byrd is allowed to claim uncredited credit for the story, which was based on his unpublished 1959 novel <i>A Time to Live.</i> The <a href='https%3A%2F%2Fwww.imdb.com%2Ftitle%2Ftt0075330%2Ffullcredits%2F'>IMDb</a> lists producer Irwin Allen as an uncredited writer, probably because he developed the original idea as a pilot for a tv show.
