At the end of Dragonheart, Fiona took a band of merry dragons and their riders back in
time to train for the next Threadfall. Now it is time for their return, but even with their
addition, there are not enough dragons to fight the fall.
“Because there wasn’t time,” Fiona said. He glared at her. “I had just enough
time to realize that I would have to time it myself, not enough time to explain.”
