- Time after Time by Dee Davis, 5 books (Jove et al., July 2000).
In the first book, 20th-century Katherine St. Claire returns to the Scottish hotel where she had a passionate one-night romance eight years ago with the man of her dreams, and from there, she’s drawn back to the man himself in the 15th-century Highlands. The other tales in the series also have various lovers pursuing the object of their romance, traveling to past or future centuries in Scotland and (in the final book) in the San Juan mountains of Colorado.
—Michael Main
He moved, and then his mouth was covering hers, hard and demanding. His arms closed around her. She was soft and yielding. He pulled her tighter into his embrace. Even with the passing of years, she felt right there as though he had held her through countless nights instead of just one.

- Debuts—Goodreads lists the July 2020 edition as a Kindle, but Davis’s own website says: paperback 2020, Pocito Press, so we're going with the horse’s mouth.
- Numbering—Goodreads lists Winter’s Kiss as Book 1.5, possibly because it was written later and had to fit in with the four existing numbers. But but Davis’s own website renumbered the books, placing Winter’s Kiss at 2, so we’re going with the author's renumbering throughout the series, even though they are not in the publication order.
