Five shuttle astronauts in orbit watch the mysterious destruction of the Earth, after which
an alien offers to send their consciousnesses back in time five years to solve the mystery
and save the earth. For me, it was the melodramatic music, weak scientific concepts and
weaker dialog that fated this show to one season, although they did take on some interesting
questions about how the crew’s actions may alter time.
