In the first book, dragonriders from the past came forward to battle the falling Thread that
most everyone had dismissed as a long-past threat. Now the Oldtimers butt heads with the
present-day leaders, particularly with F’nor who rashly sets out on his own to destroy the
Thread at its source on the Red Star.
There must be some way to get to the Red Star.
